National Agricultural Census 2078
The Central Bureau of Statistics has been conducting the Agriculture Census in every ten years since 2018 B.S (1961/62 AD) in Nepal. The upcoming Agriculture Census 2021/22 is the seventh census in its series. It is a large scale sample census. The data collection takes place in the selected enumeration areas from 29 May to 2 June 2022. It covers whole country and provides representative estimates for all 753 municipalities. The main objective of the census is to provide detail information on agricultural structure of the country. It covers the agricultural activities undertaken by households, government organizations, businesses, and cooperatives as well. The CBS requests for cooperation from all stakeholders for the successful completion of the census. Thank you.
